Team and these exclusive shots by BRB in the
pits at Mystery Creek with the Crew and the Top
Run Team's young Esthonian Champion Driver
Martin Rauam at the fifth appointment of the
Production World Rally Championship. He was the
only team driver attending this Rally New
Zealand appointment and the teams English driver
Mark Higgins had discarded this Rally of 18
Special Stages (1255,98 km in total) from the
beginning of the Championship.
This was an important opportunity and experience
for Martin Rauam and with his co-driver Kristo Kraag,
the team and Mitsibushi Lancer EVO were more than ready for New
Zealand's tough winding gravel roads on Ruapuke
Road September 2nd 2007. These photos were taken
by Brigit at "Puka Point" which provided the
most fantastic view of this leg of the Raglan
Rally. Rauam's outstanding driving skills put
the Top Run Racing Team into 8th position for
the PWRC and gaining two more points to take
home.
This invitation provided by Italy's Top Run
Racing team was the first opportunity for Brigit
to be given an exclusive even though the entire
time in the pits with the crew she didn't know
which one's the Champion driver, Martin Rauam.
The team had a fair idea where this Kiwi girl
was going to be situated on the day for the
Raglan Rally and with only two chances to
capture Martin Rauam and Kristo Kraag in action
on this part of the Ruapuke Road, Brigit could
only do her best with this speed in motion
gravel shot.
