New Zealand Castrol Superbike Road Race Championships

"A story written on tar, carved on corners, taken to the limits and back. Built to Lead and Born to Win".

An introduction to Superbikes, F1, 600 Sports Production, F3, SuperMoto and Formula Sidecar racing is the kind of horse power that takes on a new meaning in motorcycle racing. Events like Paeroa's Battle of the Streets Race, Suzuki Cemetery Circuit Wanganui, Road Race Spectacular and the NZ Castrol Superbike Road Race Championships have top skilled riders and F1 Superbikes more than pushing the boundaries of estimated speeds on tracks and circuits around New Zealand.

Andrew Stroud, 7x New Zealand Superbike Champion and famous for racing the Britten Motorcycle around the world is now riding solely on a GSXR1000 Suzuki. Also for NZ Suzuki are top riders, Ray Clee and Craig Shirriffs. Hayden Fitzgerald on his imported Blue Wing Honda CBR1000 Fireblade. In the 600 Sports Production class young Jamie Galway rides both classic and formula bikes and he's definitely a rider to watch for in the coming season.

Overseas Riders are stepping  up the level of competition with the opportunity to race against New Zealand's Best. Robbie Bugden, Damien Cudlin & Gareth Jones of Australia and The Flying Sadowski Brothers of USA who'd never raced on these circuits before. Matt Sadowski came off at Manfield (4th Round of the Castrol Superbike Road Race) and for 13 Bernard Racing Yamaha Team these 13 exclusive shots reveal a very skilled rider taking evasive action.

This is a new section and be updated shortly with new pages.
