Dave Moust
aged 34 years, & his Fiancée Emma opened their Tattoo
Studio in Collingwood Street, Hamilton on February 15th
2006. Dave's originally from Hamilton and was a fitter
welder by trade. Emma's originally from the Shetlands in
Scotland They have two children, Eden & Zed. Dave &
Emma have been together for ten years.
Dave's
been tattooing six and a half years where he began to
learn the art of tattooing while in Scotland. When he returned to New Zealand,
he continued
to learn from 'Spud' at Point of View Tattoo Studio in
the Mount (Tauranga), and from Nadine, of Skinks,
(Hamilton) where he worked until the beginning of 2006.
Dave &
Emma decided to open their own tattoo studio and with
many late nights, building everything from the plaster
decorative flame studs to his own tattoo guns on a very
tight budget, these pair are proud of their studio. They
have a good clientele and business is steady. They enjoy
the challenge and work hard as the business goes from
strength to strength.
